Kids - Early and pre-reader class -
Sundays from 2:30-3:30pm
(suggested ages 4-7)

CREATIVE PLAY, CLEAR/CONFIDENT SPEECH, SIMPLE SCENES
For our youngest performers: Individualized, ongoing training in speech and articulation, listening skills, emotional imagination, storytelling, and improvisation - designed for early and pre-readers. We work to both challenge our students and showcase their strengths. This class is recommended for most students in Preschool and Kindergarten-2nd grade.
(minimum student enrollment of 5 or more students required to ensure class meets)

Youth Class - Older Elementary
Sundays from 2:30-4pm
(Suggested ages 8+)

IMPROVISATION, PUBLIC SPEAKING,
AUDITION & SCENE STUDY
Individualized, ongoing training in improvisation, simple scene work, public speaking, and audition technique. Emphasis is on building trust with yourself and with others, listening, making strong choices as an actor, and becoming intentional in all aspects of performance. Excellent class for building confidence on stage, on screen, and in life. This class is ideal for 3rd through 6th grade students.
September/October 6-week Session: $185

Youth/Teen - Middle/High School
Sundays from 4:15-5:45pm (Suggested ages 11+)

IMPROVISATION, PUBLIC SPEAKING,
AUDITION & SCENE STUDY
Individualized, ongoing training in improvisation, simple scene work, public speaking, and audition technique. Emphasis is on building trust with yourself and with others, listening, making strong choices as an actor, and becoming intentional in all aspects of performance. Excellent class for building confidence on stage, on screen, and in life. This class is designed for middle and high school students or younger actors who are working professionally.
September/October 6-week Session: $185

working pro class - Sundays from 6-8pm
(by invitation only)

INTENSE, PROFESSIONAL-FOCUSED TRAINING
Ongoing training for teen students with professional experience or equivalent training. Work is targeted and based on the needs of each current student and can include monologue and audition prep, on-camera mock casting sessions, improvisation - both long and short form, and in depth text analysis. This class is available to students by invitation or audition only. Call (562) 225-8177 to discuss placement and arrange an interview/audition.

Specialty Classes
3-Hour Improv Jams -
November 4 - 2-5pm

Each 3-hour afternoon "funday" meets from 2-5pm at En Pointe Dance & Fitness - $25/class
Three hours of non-stop improvisation fun! Open to students ages 8-18 (former, current, new, potential, otherwise!) Come prepared to be silly, have fun, to be creative in ways you never knew were possible, and to learn about trusting yourself. We'll even cover some basic and not-so-basic rules for excellent improvisation play.
